Check out the Guerrilla Choir YouTube Channel.
On a beautiful summer Saturday, the Guerrilla Choir met at Parc Lafonaine near downtown Montreal. We rehearsed the tune “Don’t Panic” by Coldplay and then walked about the park singing to various people and groups.
We came upon this guy playing the guitar and harmonica…he joined us on our tunes.
This was the first of the second strike on the metro (June 16). Thanks to the lady in black who ignores us at first and then really gets into by the ending
This was the 4th time of the day. We actually weren’t going to sing this time but we just had to. Listen to the people clap at the end. Lois, who stayed on the train to go to work, reported that after we left the girls were gushing…’if they’d have asked for money, i would have given it!’, ‘we were having the worst day and then this! it was so happy! i feel so great now!’ etc.
We have just arrived at the platform. When the train comes we chicken out and wait for the next one.
This is either the 2nd or 3rd time. There was very little reaction from the metro riders
We’re in this together….
